VIDEO: Just in awe of it all
See, I'm just in awe of it all.
How tears can fall, and fall,
and fall, and fall and fall,
and fall and fall.
And how a full moon can bring the coldest of wake-up calls.
And how softness is the strongest of embraces,
when your heart is aching for unreachable places,
and how light can illuminate the darkest of spaces;
And how we never know –
yet forever is a plausible thought.
And somehow,
we make sense of the unnamable,
and try to tame the untamable,
and blame the unblamable,
until life is a mess,
and we dress to impress;
And how stress feeds stress,
and fear feeds fear,
and love feeds love.
And how it's really that simple.
Love feeds love;
And, we're both the feeder and the fed,
both the spoken and unsaid –
both the gardener and the park –
and, have you seen how fire sparks?
And, how water can fly,
and be cried,
and float –
I mean, it can even carry a boat!
And how, the only way through,
is through.
And how your journey is for you,
and just you;
Yet sharing is caring.
And caring is sharing the load;
And so we hold each other's hand,
as we try to understand why,
good things happen to those who wait –
yet sometimes,
it's really just, too late;
It's time to let go.
To let life unfold.
To lean into the stories,
yet untold –
And, have you seen the way trees dance in the breeze,
or how snowflakes appear as temperatures freeze;
or how this world is so filled with death and disease –
yet equally, with love and with ease;
And, did you know that fairies hide from the rain?
Or that heartbreak produces physical pain?
See, I'm just in awe of it all;
as these miraculous tears continue to fall.

P.S.
Did you know that when we cry, our bodies release oxytocin and endorphins? Or that emotional tears contain stress hormones, meaning we are literally crying the ‘’-feelings away from our bodies? Or that it activates our central nervous system, which helps to calm the body down? How incredible are our bodies? And how blessed are we to be able to cry when our emoceans get too stormy? I’m just in awe of it ALL.
